Individual Counselling

My counselling approach is to focus on what matters to you and what’s happening for you, with human empathy and compassion.

I recognise each client as a unique individual, and take an integrated approach personalising evidence-based counselling modalities to best support your needs and desired outcomes.

This may include drawing on modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), or Narrative Therapy, and principles from neuroscience, attachment theory, or family systems.

I am trauma-informed, which means I understand the importance of providing a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic space where healing and recovery can occur.

I work ethically in collaboration with you, which means you are always free to decide when you feel ready to complete your sessions.

As a Christian, I can incorporate a biblical perspective for clients who desire this in their sessions, but I am more than happy to work with clients from any worldview.

I hold a Bachelor of Human Services (Child & Family), a Master of Counselling, and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision.

I am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and am a registered Professional Supervisor for Chaplaincy Australia.

I would love to connect with you!
